MUSIC MALAWI 1962

Recorded in 1962 by my father Russell D. Kroeker, this album highlights local music, with interviews by my 22 year old dad, as well as the words and thoughts of their American Educated President, Dr. Kamuzu Banda. Several songs are written in honor of him as a show of respect and worship. My father deeply respected him, mostly due to his high level of intelligence (that they both shared), but also because Dr Banda found him valuable as an ally to help bring the country into the 20th century from out of the Victorian era British colonial days. I'll miss dad.
